Mike Thompson is a photographer in his 20's hailing from the south west suburbs of Chicago, IL. His passion for photography started in 2003, and led him to pursue a Bachelors Degree at Columbia College Chicago, which he completed in 2009. If you would like to view a resume, contact him via email.

Mike's work is traditionally landscape and outside shots of architecture within the landscape. He seeks out beautiful locations, and captures them when the light is best, often returning to make a better picture. His passion to depict the natural beauty of the landscape led him to recieve many awards in juried art shows, and much praise in his solo shows. Mike shoots a Nikon D80, and all are shot and composed in camera with minimal editing and virtually no difference in how the scene was actually viewed. With the bright, saturated colors usually coming from longer exposures, Mike shoots both digital and film, using both to their advantages.
